Event Description

Registration is now open for the Brain Behavior Quantification Synchronization (BBQS) Sensors Workshop May 2–3, 2023. This workshop will highlight different sensor technologies and how they could help us better understand the brain and complex human behaviors. For example, cutting-edge sensors could capture movement during mind-body approaches combined with real-time brain or physiological measures. The use of biosensors could monitor physiological status improved by natural products or breathing states during mindfulness interventions. This workshop will bring together scientists from typically disconnected fields (i.e., engineers, neuroscientists, computational modelers) to discuss how sensor technologies can help us understand the brain and complex human behaviors.

This will be a hybrid virtual/in-person meeting. The meeting is free to attend; registration is required.

This workshop is hosted by the National Institute of Mental Health and the NIH Brain Research Through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies® (BRAIN) Initiative
